Sumud Convoy, 2025
Created to support the North African led Global March to Gaza, a humanitarian, civilian attempt to convoy to Rafah, the southernmost part of Gaza that borders Egypt. The goal of the convoy was to draw attention to the forced starvation, mass killing, and at the time communications blackout in Gaza. Like the Freedom Flotilla attempts, these are humanitarian efforts that are attempting to challenge the siege by land and sea.

We Are Paying for This, 2025
Created to share information on the ways in which bombs kill people, specifically overpressure, which is a type of injury caused by part of a bomb's blast radius. It's often why some children look uninjured when killed by a bomb: the overpressure has destroyed their internal organs due to the bomb's shockwave. Children are more susceptible to dying from overpressure injuries, as their internal organs are smaller and more vulnerable. This image was originally posted alongside a diagram detailing the blast radius of an USA-made MK-series bomb, a type of bomb routinely dropped on Palestinians.
This was posted the same day the USA dropped 30,000 lb bombs on Iranian nuclear sites.

Orange Tree, 2025
I keep thinking about Farmer Yousef Abu Rabee who was killed by US-backed Israel in a drone strike near his nursery in October 2024. He was 24 when he was killed. Before the constant displacements, he had been working towards a degree in agriculture at Al-Azhar University in Gaza City, a university that has now been completely leveled along with every other university in Gaza. Starving an entire population requires control, murder of those who hold specialized knowledge (doctors, farmers..), and constant destruction. It requires deliberate planning and action. It requires the US population to keep quiet and go about their days like they don't know what's happening.

One Day the Ship Will Dock, 2025
Created to support the June 2025 Gaza Freedom Flotilla, specifically the ship The Handala, that had Greta Thunberg and 13 other activists on board. The flotilla missions have been ongoing since 2008 and have all attempted to break Israel's illegal naval blockage that has been in place since the 70s. The imagery in this piece is from a Palestinian resistance thobe (a style of dress) from the late 80s/early 90s. The text reads "One Day the Ship Will Dock" with the english translation below.
